Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies
• Help ensure proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities and ensure cash handling practices are followed
• Maintain store displays and signage for promotional effectiveness
• Assist with seasonal merchandising and store supplies management
• Help prepare weekly schedules and control expenses
• Ensure merchandise and displays are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
