Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protecting company assets and ensuring safety policies are followed.
  • Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  • Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
  • Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  • Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  • Assisting with receipt, return, and management of merchandise, including damaged goods.
  • Supporting staffing, sales effectiveness, cash handling, merchandising, and store supplies management.
  • Ensuring store displays and signage are effective and replenished daily.
  • Creating weekly schedules and assisting with expense control.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
