Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly Associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies
• Ensure proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness daily
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling practices
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and seasonal areas
• Coordinate signage and store displays
• Assist with store supplies management and expense control
• Maintain checkout area and stock levels of promotional items
• Assist in creating weekly schedules

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
