Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to follow cash handling guidelines.
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandising efforts.
• Manage store supplies and expenses.
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining checkout areas to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and displays daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store operations.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
