Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including store cash.
• Maintaining safety policies and a professional environment.
• Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing store directives and communications.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness.
• Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Maintaining store displays and signage, managing seasonal areas, and merchandise presentation.
• Assisting with weekly scheduling and managing supplies and expenses.
• Refilling coolers and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
