Position: Operations Assistant

Salary: $21.24/hour

Location: New London, CT

Job Duties
  • Assist the Event Coordinator and Business Manager in club operations during their absence.
  • Supervise and direct staff (wait-staff and bartenders).
  • Ensure courteous and efficient service and enforce club policies.
  • Handle cash receipts, end-of-function funds, and paperwork.
  • Set up function room arrangements per patron’s plans.
  • Manage club property, inventory, merchandise, and equipment.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of alcoholic beverages.
  • Assist with invoice processing and employee timecard reviews.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Experience with catering large events.
  • Experience managing waitstaff and scheduling.
  • Cashiering experience.

Preferred:

  • Associates degree in retail or hospitality management with at least 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year catering or managing waitstaff.
