Job summary

GARAGE DOORS UNLIMITED is seeking a detail-oriented administrative/CSR professional in Poway, CA. You will field calls, schedule service and installs, and use our CRM to organize field technicians’ days and track installations.

You’ll interact with customers and vendors, enter detailed notes, and ensure post-install follow-up. Ideal candidates show strong customer service, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Service Titan or House Call Pro is a huge plus.
• Upbeat, enthusiastic, positive, willingness to learn and grow with the company (long term employment and 'move up ladder' goals).
• Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
• Works well in a FAST-paced environment and pays strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming phone calls and schedule service calls.
• Use CRM to organize field techs’ day and track installations.
• Interact with customers and vendors; enter detailed notes into CRM.
• Follow up on all installs and service calls for post-work needs.
• Coordinate with outside sales and order parts with vendors.
• Process basic payments using CRM and maintain supplies.
• Keep inventory of parts used by field techs and stay organized.
• Maintain contact with customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties

• Field incoming phone calls


• Schedule service calls and installs when product arrives


• Use internal CRM and dispatching software to organize field techs’ day


• Interact with customers and vendors


• Enter detailed notes into CRM regarding customer installations, details of purchase, pertinent information and notes


• Follow up on all installs and service calls for any post work needed


• Work with outside sales team with basic general inquiries regarding the items sold


• Work with vendors to order parts and job materials


• Process basic payments using our CRM


• Help keep basic office supply closet tidy and stocked


• Help keep track of parts/inventory for items used by field techs


• Stay in touch with customers during the duration of the project, from confirming their order was placed, confirming their install date, calling post install for customer feedback


• Basic miscellaneous clerical duties as needed

Qualifications

• Experience using Service Titan or House Call Pro software a HUGE plus!

• Strong geographical knowledge of the San Diego area for scheduling appointments for field techs


• Enjoys working in a casual environment, but conducts him/herself in an extremely professional manner


• Previous experience in construction, home improvement, or property management a plus*


• Bilingual a plus*
