Operations Assistant — Sacramento, California

We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join FoundationCCC in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. Together, we are building stronger communities by getting students and colleges the resources they need to succeed and expanding pathways to economic and social mobility across California. What You’ll Do

This position is responsible for the administrative duties and logistical services that support the Office Operations teams. The Assistant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of FoundationCCC.

  • Under general direction, Assistant supports the activities and operations of the Office Operations groups as the first point of contact, including administrative support, reception, conference room preparation and support, including AV troubleshooting, phone, and mail services.

  • Maintaining an organized office space, including breakrooms, shared workspaces, conference room, storage spaces, and inventory management

  • Build and cultivate relationships internally and externally where appropriate, act as organizational brand ambassador as needed and provide business development support and input where there is opportunity.

  • Work in service management software programs (JIRA).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work well, accurately, and with flexibility and optimism in stressful, high visibility situations.

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and integrity and to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships.

  • Relevant AA/AS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 - $22.00
