Job description

Operations and Training Manager, MTCCS - JBSA - (2050)

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Operations and Training Manager to support the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) Contract with operations, simulations, training, logistics, Cybersecurity, and IT support. The MTC provides individual through collective training and sustainment on Army Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS), the Command and Control Warfighting Function (WfF), and the Army’s approach to Mission Command (MC), supporting various training environments and simulations for Army units.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing JBSA MTC Operations and Training.
  2. Supervising support for day-to-day operations, exercise planning, resource coordination, and knowledge management.
  3. Participating in and leading operations and exercise updates and staff meetings.
  4. Coordinating with the JBSA MTC Government Operations Chief and/or Director regarding training and event support requirements and conflicts.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree (field of study immaterial).
  • At least five years of experience with military training and support operations.
  • Five years of operations management experience.
  • Three years within the last ten years of experience with military simulations.
  • Strong understanding of the Army Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) and MTC operations.
  • Experience in Battalion or higher Command, Operations, or Training roles, or equivalent civilian/corporate roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience as an FA57 or CP36.
  • Graduation from Command & General Staff College (CGSC), Intermediate Level Education, or equivalent military/civilian leadership training.
  • Three years on a senior Military Staff.
  • Two years’ experience in Army MTCs.
  • Possession of a TOP SECRET clearance.

Security Clearance: Requires a Secret Security clearance.
