Job summary

LotusWorks is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and preservation of critical equipment in a high-tech semiconductor facility.

The role emphasizes following client guidelines, preserving non-operating equipment, and performing safe state verifications while coordinating with engineers and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 3–10 years in operations, maintenance, or technician roles in semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial facility.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems such as HVAC, process utilities, and facility support equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures, preservation practices, and safe state verification.
• Ability to interpret and follow technical procedures, preservation checklists, and operational guidelines.
• Proficient in documenting activities and updating operational systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and escalation skills in response to alarms, shutdowns, or equipment issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for working with engineers, vendors, and site leadership.

• Conduct preservation activities on non-operating equipment to maintain readiness and integrity.
• Complete safe state verification and signoff for non-operating equipment.
• Escalate vendor-required preservation to FCE/FFO to facilitate site visits.
• Collaborate with central engineers on escalations and review of equipment preservation checklists.
• Respond promptly to equipment shutdowns and alarms; escalate as needed.
• Perform rounds and readings on non-automated equipment and facility areas to ensure proper operation.
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

• Relevant technical certifications (HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems) are an advantage.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Schedule: 18:00 – 06:30, Wednesday to Friday with alternating Saturdays
