Job summary

LotusWorks seeks a Facilities Operations & Maintenance technician to support subfab and utility systems in advanced manufacturing facilities. You will work with operations, maintenance, EHS, and client teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and timely maintenance execution.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, OSHA 10/30, and hazardous waste or chemical handling certifications; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting facilities operations and maintenance within semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling, hazardous waste management, and utility systems.
  • Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), LIWS, and industrial safety procedures.
  • Experience supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ability to safely handle and transport maintenance materials and heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of water treatment, UPW, chemical distribution, and waste treatment systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing spare parts and consumable inventories.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and risk assessment processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Commitment to safety, housekeeping, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform standard facilities Operations & Maintenance activities with a focus on subfab operations, preventive maintenance support, consumables management, chemical and waste systems, and safety support.
  • Support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Isolation Verification (LIWS), and other site safety procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Serve as a safety buddy for bulk chemical deliveries, hazardous waste offloads, and other high-risk maintenance activities.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within offload containment areas, HFW press areas, UPW floors, waste treatment rooms, and other assigned utility spaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning and inspections of caustic tank rooms, stormwater containment areas, and associated utility spaces.
  • Maintain shop vacuums and housekeeping equipment in accordance with site requirements.
  • Perform CCW harvesting activities including LOTO, media removal and sorting, and replacement of cathode barrel end caps following approved procedures.
  • Prepare, mix, and replenish Applikon analyzer reagents as required.
  • Manage inventory levels for CCW, HF-N/S/3, TMXW, SCW, FTW, and other utility system consumables.
  • Monitor bulk chemical inventory including sulfuric acid, caustic, hydrochloric acid, sodium bisulfite, polymer, magnetite, lime, and other treatment chemicals, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Perform daily rounds and readings across water treatment and waste treatment systems to verify equipment status and operational performance.
  • Replace SCW Pall filters and support routine maintenance across multiple waste and water treatment systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities including cleaning Rotocat assemblies within CCW systems.
  • Participate in non-standard maintenance activities utilizing Joint Pre-Task Work Plans and Risk Priority Number (RPN) review processes.
  • Conduct inventory checks within subfab parts cages and maintain critical spare parts inventory.
  • Order, receive, restock, and organize maintenance materials through approved inventory management systems.
  • Perform dock walks and safely move heavy equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, cryogenic equipment, and related components.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance by preparing work areas, staging tools and PPE, establishing work zones, and completing post-maintenance cleanup.
  • Serve as a safety buddy during elevated-risk work requiring APR, SAR, acid PPE, or other specialized protective equipment.
  • Perform miscellaneous operational support activities including shop vacuum cleaning, heat trace inspections, sink audits, dump station cleaning, heat exchanger top-offs, leak checker logistics, SCANDO inspections, and scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, EHS, and client personnel to support facility uptime and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory documentation, and work order completion.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

  • Forklift certification preferred. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
