Solar Energy Solutions (SES) is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Virginia. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar energy systems, with responsibilities spanning inspections, fault identification, and performance optimization.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in O&M of solar systems, and strong technical skills. Certifications in solar energy are preferred; a Journeyman license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in solar energy systems or relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of solar energy systems.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment; Journeyman's Electrical License is a plus.
• Familiarity with solar inverters and monitoring systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of solar energy systems.

As an Operations and Maintenance Technician at SES, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and optimal performance of our solar energy systems. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar panels, inverters, and other system components. Additionally, you will conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address any potential issues.

• Hourly Positions: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
• Salaried Positions: $45,000 - $175,000 annually
