Chesapeake Minerals LLC is seeking a proactive O&M Coordinator to plan, schedule, document, and manage critical activities at our new quartz minerals processing plant. In this role, you will bridge the gap between plant operations, maintenance, procurement, accounting and customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, specialty business unit of the Stewart Companies. You will play an instrumental role in scaling a niche industrial minerals business serving the consumer electronics, personal care, and automotive markets, while gaining deep exposure to all aspects of quartz production and sales.
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a business or technical field is a plus.
Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments. The employee will regularly be exposed to dust and airborne particles associated with mineral processing operations and may be required to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and other outdoor conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required
This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; move, open, and handle boxes and inventory; and perform frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking throughout the work area. The employee must be able to safely move around storage and production areas and handle materials as needed. The position may also require the use of a respirator and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
