This is a cross-functional role where you will be exposed to many different parts of the business, ranging from operations to sales, IT, and accounting. You will learn how to act as a trusted advisor to the business while connecting them to technical resources such as our IT organization, and gain exposure to a wide variety of enterprise software systems.In your day-to-day work, you will use every skillset you possess — from coding and communication to leadership and planning — to push a diversity of projects forward. You will also gain an understanding of back-office operations and what it takes to run an SMB in 2026, including tax filings, payroll, benefits administration, and insurance, while learning how to run meetings that gain stakeholder buy-in and design systems and processes that move the organization forward. This position has the opportunity to convert to a full-time role at the conclusion of the internship.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Map current-state, service-related processes and analyze them to identify opportunities to improve process workflows and identify automation opportunities* Work with Salesforce in an admin or developer capacity to build solutions for stakeholders* Assist with user access and reporting issues* Hold interviews with stakeholder groups to gather feedback and identify requirements for current processes that can be improved* Gather data from various systems and build reporting to provide senior stakeholders with relevant information to make data-driven decisions* Build process automation using RPA tools such as Power Automate and Salesforce Flows to bring low-code solutions to stakeholders quickly* Depending on experience with Python/Apex, utilize those skills in a production environment when opportunities arise* Follow company policies and procedures required to comply with applicable data privacy and confidentiality requirements, including but not limited to SOC controls and HIPAA Privacy and Security regulations* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned## Qualifications**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** Experience working in a Customer Service or Sales role that utilized a CRM or other technology that enhanced the customer experience* Moderate Excel expertise (Pivot Tables, VLookup)* Currently in Senior Standing at an accredited University* Pursuing a Major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting (other majors will be considered if a technical minor is being pursued or there is demonstrable interest in technical work)**PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** Working knowledge of relational databases and ERD documentation* SQL experience* Entrepreneurial background (started a business, led a growing organization or club, or took on additional initiatives outside of your academic career)* Used LLM tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to bridge knowledge gaps through intelligent prompting* Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM platform* High-level understanding of how a sales process flows
