Under the direct supervision of the Manager I within the Firearm Purchase Program (FPP), this position is responsible for the review and analysis of criminal history records to determine eligibility for the purchase and possession of firearms as authorized by Florida Statute. This position must meet and maintain a National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC) certification as required and is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data housed within department databases.

FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants.
