Job description

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members for our Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional accounting and administration services for our clients' hedge and private equity funds. As an Accounting Analyst, you will serve as the official record keeper for the funds, representing our commitment to quality control and excellence.

What you will do:

  1. The primary responsibility is initiating wire payments for investor money movement, expense payments, and fund of fund investments via online banking and internal systems. Accuracy and speed are crucial, following established policies and controls.

  2. Coordinate new account setups for clients, working directly with SEI's clients and banking institutions.

  3. Interact mainly within the team, with other SEI teams, and external banking partners, with occasional direct client interaction.

  4. Participate in professional development sessions to acquire new skills, identify process improvements, and grow your career within a diverse team.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

  • Internship experience preferred.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to complete multiple deliverables accurately and timely.

  • Strong communication skills for email and phone support.

  • Excellent customer service skills for daily client and partner interactions.
