Job summary

The Royal Group (TRG) Cincinnati is seeking an Operations Analyst/Estimator to schedule product flow and drive accurate cost estimates. You will review CAD drawings and production plans, work with ERP platforms, and coordinate with vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Ideal candidates excel in Excel, problem solving, and cross-functional teamwork, with a knack for adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel.
• Experience working with AutoCAD.
• Experience with production/ERP software such as Epicor, Nulogy, Amtech, CTI, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with departments to identify resources for cost estimates.
• Analyzes CAD drawings and project plans to understand the project.
• Determines factors of production influencing costs.
• Uses CAD to layout production lines and updates material pricing with suppliers.
• Presents estimates to management and coordinates engineering changes.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and customers, drives continuous improvement.

Operations Analyst/Estimator

Location: TRG Cincinnati - Milford, OH

TRG Cincinnati, a subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Supply Chain Analyst in Milford, OH. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for scheduling of product flow based on customer and operational needs, ensuring efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods through the facility, and also play a significant role on the company’s ability to fulfill orders in a timely fashion.

Skills and Abilities

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective cost estimate.
• Analyzes requirement documents, CAD drawings, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Determines what factors of production will influence the cost of the project.
• Use project data to determine the layout of the production line. Use CAD software to draw a graphic representation of the line layout.
• Updates prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers and vendors. Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
• Presents prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders.
• Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions.
• Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors/customers while promoting company initiatives and values.
• Lead internal meetings to identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement, develop root cause analyses, corrective actions, and other critical customer focused requirements.
• Postmortem review of jobs to look for ways to improve/gain efficiency.
• Maintain positive working relationship with peers.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Additional duties as assigned.
