A federal logistics contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to enhance operational processes. This remote role requires data analysis and collaboration with teams to improve efficiency. Applicants must have a BA and a SECRET level security clearance. Competitive salary range of $150,000–$170,000 offered, along with comprehensive benefits.
The Operations Analyst is responsible for reviewing and improving a company's operational processes, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Examines and assesses solutions to problems and drafts procedures for improving operations. Secures information by interviewing employees and/or customers, reading reports, analyzing operations, determining project scope and recommendations in reports. Produces practical solutions by describing requirements, studying system or process capabilities, analyzing alternative solutions, and preparing system specifications, using statistical analysis, simulation, and optimization. Conducts training for employees and/or customers to use new or revised systems. Works with analytical teams on highly complex problems, and works with employee teams to assist with implementation of proposals. Performs work independently. Considered a high-level specialist who regularly interacts and works with senior management. Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work. Typically requires BA and 10-12 years.
