Job summary

ALAMANCE FOODS INC is seeking an Operations Analyst to design and optimize production and packaging processes in Graham, NC. You will administer databases, build dashboards, and analyze KPIs to drive efficiency and reduce waste across food and beverage operations.

The role requires a Master’s in Business Analytics or MBA with at least 6 months in business development, plus strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and prescriptive analytics. On-site position with no travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize operations solutions for food and beverage products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Marketing to shape operations strategy.
• Build dashboards to visualize KPIs like production attainment, downtime, line speed, and labor costs.
• Conduct statistical analyses and draft reports to support optimization efforts.
• Work with suppliers to assess specifications and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate packaging materials for safety, quality, and sustainability compliance.
• Identify automation opportunities to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop specifications and testing protocols for raw materials to ensure quality.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and optimize innovative and cost-effective operations solutions for food and beverage products.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Quality, and Marketing to develop operations strategy that meets functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer databases and build dashboards to visualize key Operations KPIs including production attainments, downtime, line speed, labor costs, etc to track performances.
• Conduct statistical analysis and draft reports per Operations team’s request for analytical needs, and come up with improvement suggestions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess material specifications, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and test packaging materials to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
• Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements in packaging processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop specifications, technical drawings, and testing protocols for raw materials to ensure consistency and quality in production.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
