What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Extract and compile financial data to produce daily/weekly reconciliation reports for assigned clients
  • Assist more experienced analysts in completing root cause analysis for reconciliation issues
  • Identify basic out-of-reconciliation issues and aid in their resolution
  • Support the implementation of process and system changes related to reconciliation
  • Maintain financial reporting history and track issues through resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Typically a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience of financial reconciliation, preferably within the financial industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including macros and pivot tables
  • Understanding of financial audit rules and bookkeeping processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, IT, or equivalent
  • Typically a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of financial reconciliation processes
  • International qualifications such as London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Higher Accounting
  • Experience with auditing and bookkeeping best practices
