Qualifications

• BS degree in a STEM-related field with a strong academic record.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under high pressure to meet deadlines.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services.
• Experience with AI tools/LLMs or Python data libraries (Pandas, NumPy) to build automated workflows or analyze large datasets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SQL/SQL Server.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
• Solid understanding of traditional financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trading reconciliations and other post-trade activities, including investigating and identifying root causes of trade breaks.
• Manage monthly invoice reconciliation with exchanges, clearing firms, and other counterparties.
• Develop understanding of proprietary systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Liase between clearing firms and traders; oversee execution of position, trade, and cash transfers.
• Model, analyze, and optimize existing and new tools.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance automation, streamline workflows, and improve data processing efficiency.
• Assist in developing and implementing analytical models to provide insight into trading activities.
• Work directly with traders and senior management on escalated operational issues.
• Partner with the accounting department to ensure they receive detailed reconciliation reports.
• Manage ad-hoc projects and requests on a day-to-day basis.

• Experience with SQL/SQL Server is strongly desired.

• Solid understanding of traditional financial markets.

Benefits and Compensation

Base Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 + Eligible for performance based bonus

The final salary determination will be dependent on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
