Objective of the job:

  • Review products and materials and identify defects by visual inspection and measuring characteristics during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet company requirements.
  • Maintain complete and accurate production and quality records.
  • Provide disposition of finished products and discuss inspection results with the operations team.
  • Identify and remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve quality.
  • Effectively use technical implements such as gauges, checking aids, and reference samples to measure and evaluate product characteristics.
  • Ensure product conformity through a process-oriented approach and comply with all production and quality requirements.
  • Report the number of defective products manufactured, document and report non-conformance, and ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Continuously inspect parts for defects or irregularities while producing and sorting out defective parts.
  • Maintain constant attention to detail, ensuring to meet daily production schedules and follow the guidelines established in the work instructions.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing and quality inspection experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience with MES documentation.
  • Knowledge of IPST standards.
  • Product-specific inspection criteria knowledge.
