Job summary

Bunge seeks an Operational Systems Specialist to administer and optimize maintenance and asset-management systems. You will manage CMMS/EAM configurations, user access, and data quality, while partnering with maintenance and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

With a focus on governance, reporting, and SOP development, you will train users and support cross-functional system changes to sustain compliant work management across sites.

Operational Systems Specialist

The Operational Systems Specialist is responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous oversight of operational systems that support maintenance and asset management processes. This role ensures system data integrity, drives consistent system usage, and supports operational teams through technical expertise and process alignment.

Working under the guidance of the Manager, Operational Services, this position partners with Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Operations teams to maintain effective system functionality, improve data quality, and support efficient, compliant work management practices.

Essential Job Functions:

• Serve as the primary system administrator for maintenance and operational systems (e.g., CMMS/EAM platforms).
• Maintain system configuration, user access, master data, and system hierarchies to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs.
• Monitor system performance and data quality, proactively identifying and resolving inconsistencies or gaps.
• Execute routine audits of system data to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset records, maintenance plans, work orders, and inventory data.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and process controls.
• Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making, KPI tracking, and operational visibility.
• Partner with Maintenance Planners and Supervisors to support planning, scheduling, and execution processes within the system.
• Assist with the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to system use.
• Support cross-functional coordination by ensuring consistency of system processes across teams.
• Support implementation of new system features, integrations, and tools.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.
• Contribute to change management efforts by supporting communication, documentation, and user readiness.
• Provide system training and guidance to end users to ensure consistent and effective utilization.
• Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and user documentation.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for system-related questions and best practices.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
