Job summary

South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources Incorporated is seeking an Operational Support Worker to perform general maintenance, transportation, and safety duties across the agency. You will help keep facilities clean, transport consumers to programs, and support on-call operations.

Responsibilities include basic repairs, monitoring HVAC and safety systems, and assisting with mail runs and vehicle inspections. A high school diploma and valid driver's license with a clean record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months related experience and/or training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record for more than three years.

Responsibilities

• Minor maintenance and repair including painting, assembling furniture, moving furniture etc.
• Monitoring facilities to ensure the safe operation of heating, ventilation, cooling systems, etc.
• General cleaning services including trash removal, discarding furniture and other nonfunctional items.
• Providing emergency management services and on-call services to support program operations including but not limited to: snow removal, assistance for disabled agency vehicles, fire burglar alarm response, response for no heat, AC, etc.
• Vehicle safety inspections and operational support to ensure proper maintenance.
• Consumer transport and mail runs as needed.

Operational Support Worker-South Jersey Behavioral Health

The Operational Support Worker is general maintenance and transportation services as required throughout the Agency. The Operational Support Worker is also responsible for safely transporting consumers to program and activities as needed; completing minor facility repairs; and ensuring facility and vehicle safety and cleanliness by maintaining an acceptable level of operational support to agency programs and services. Duties include but are not limited to:
