Job summary

SIXT in San Diego, CA is seeking an Operational Support Associate who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You will support rental operations, assist customers face-to-face, manage vehicle readiness, and help drive sales performance with flexible hours and bonus opportunities.

You’ll collaborate across teams to coordinate fleet logistics, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth, memorable rental experiences while upholding high service standards and compliance with licensing

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency and use of internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through vehicle options, protection packages, and add-ons to maximize sales.
• Support customers throughout the rental journey and collect feedback.
• Oversee fleet operations: vehicle readiness, inventory, and coordination with service partners.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness, perform routine checks, and assist with driving and staging.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, service updates, and customer interactions across teams.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You deliver exceptional rental experiences by guiding customers through vehicle options, protection packages, and add-ons while maximizing sales opportunities
• You support customers throughout their rental journey, ensuring satisfaction, collecting feedback, and maintaining high service standards
• You oversee fleet operations, including vehicle readiness, inventory management, coordination with service partners, and preparation for rental or disposal
• You ensure vehicle cleanliness, perform routine checks, and assist with driving and staging to maintain fleet efficiency and presentation
