Operational Sourcing Lead

Waukesha, WI (Remote)

The Operational Sourcing Lead will be responsible for managing the supplier base to ensure security of supply, compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement in service, costs, OWC, and sustainability. They will lead sourcing initiatives related to running the business to secure the supply of products to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure supply continuity for raw materials for all Taste manufacturing sites in the region.
  • Support raw material localization, introduction of new sources, and new raw materials.
  • Participate in projects creating value for the company (lead time reduction, productivity, localization, supplier performance, etc.).
  • Support global sourcing teams in sourcing portfolio management on assigned categories.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvements in processes, methods, productivity, and quality while reducing costs.

You Bring:

  • A four-year college degree, preferably in Supply Chain; relevant work or industry experience may be considered without a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operational sourcing, supplier management, and raw materials issues.
  • Experience in the food/beverage industry (or closely related).
  • Ability to communicate and expedite effectively with vendors using practical verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.
