Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Specialist

Overview

STV is seeking an Operational Readiness, Activation & Transition (ORAT) Specialist passionate about supporting clients' business practices through aviation projects. The role offers flexibility in location within the United States, with regular travel to project sites including DFW, IAH, ATL, EWR, ORD, LGA, SAT, JFK, LAX, among others.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, ramp-up, and execution of Aviation, Transit, and ORAT programs.
• Develop Stakeholder Engagement and Operational Interface Plans.
• Coordinate Familiarization, Induction, and Training Plans.
• Gather information for ORAT schedule development.
• Implement Transition Plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
• Provide regular updates on ORAT activities.
• Review project schedules, testing, and close-out plans.
• Attend and facilitate project meetings.
• Manage workflow processes to ensure timely completion.
• Assist with project closeouts and transition to operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Planning, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in aviation, including on ORAT teams for new facilities.
• Knowledge of industry practices for systems and operations such as Traction Power, Signal Systems, O/M, Facility Systems, Testing & Commissioning, Systems Integration Testing, Risk Management, and Project Management.
• Technical skills in project management, transit operations, documentation, communication, and operational or technology testing.
• Proficiency in software tools like Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Office 365.

Compensation & Benefits
