Job summary

Sherpa 6, Inc. is seeking a Network Integrator to support CBP OT operations, including lab testing, deployment readiness, and fielding of networked OT systems. The role covers lab and field environments, with hands-on work on routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and end-user devices. Travel up to 25% is required.

The candidate will coordinate with systems integration, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable end-to-end communications across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Communications, Business Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, network integration, or related technical role.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and enterprise services.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, firewall concepts, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and document network solutions for OT and tactical systems.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless infrastructure, and network services.
• Support IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and secure segmentation.
• Integrate network connectivity across on-premise, cloud, edge, and mobile environments.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, engineering, and government stakeholders.
