We are actively hiring an Operational Language Analyst - Arabic - Levantine or Saudi, Level 4 to join our Defense and Homeland Security Division working in Northern VA. In this role, the Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process crypto, voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Crypto Experience: target development, network analysis, drafting intel reports, speaker/language identification.
  • Related Language Experience: oral translations, non-crypto audio/graphic translations, doc exploitation, formal teaching.
  • Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
  • Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
  • Scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials.
  • Performing quality control review of translations and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent.
  • Equivalent of ten (10) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.
    • In lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree, an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted.
