Heraeus Precious Metals seeks a Continuous Improvement & Project Manager to lead site-wide Lean initiatives at the Santa Fe Springs facility. You will translate business priorities into structured projects and drive cross-functional execution across safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EH&S to deliver measurable results while sustaining improvements and building a culture of operational excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in continuous improvement, project management, or operations in manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through sustainment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
• Experience using Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Root Cause Analysis, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of operational KPIs and data analysis for measuring results.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, Management of Change, and EH&S requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site-wide continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Standard Work).
• Identify performance gaps, waste and inefficiencies; develop practical, measurable solutions.
• Manage site-level projects from initiation to closeout (capital projects, process changes, upgrades).
• Develop project plans, schedules, resources, risk assessments, and documentation aligned with business priorities.
• Establish priorities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and remove barriers to execution.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
• Coach teams on Lean tools, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive productivity, reduce scrap and downtime, and improve cost and operational discipline.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EH&S, Supply Chain, and vendors.
