Operational Excellence Manager – Owensboro, KY

This role focuses on deploying the OPEN+ framework to enhance operational capabilities, drive innovation, and improve reliability and agility across the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead OPEN+ deployment of the site to enhance capabilities, drive innovation, and improve reliability and agility.
• Foster engagement through a standardized, collaborative approach and support the end‑to‑end OPEN+ journey.
• Support the Open+ Manager in deploying OPEN+ according to the defined regional strategy and participate in global/regional OPEN+ activities.
• Ensure full safety and sustainability compliance with local legislation and company policies, and promote a safety mindset.
• Encourage correct quality behaviors and mindset, providing support in the Quality pillar and functions.
• Coach the Pillar OPEN+ methodology, support teams to integrate standardized processes, eliminate losses, and solve problems autonomously.
• Scout and lead productivity initiatives to drive site loss elimination and enhance KPI alignment.
• Support continuous improvement, maintain OPEN+ expertise, and coordinate training activities.

Qualifications

• College or university degree; bachelor’s or master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, lean, product development, or supply‑chain environments.
• Minimum 1 year in a people‑management position.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Annual base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000.
