Job summary

Framatome in Richland, WA is seeking an Operational Excellence Leader I to drive continuous improvement and coach teams in Lean tools. You will lead training programs and facilitate critical problem-solving workshops to improve processes and performance.

As part of the role, you’ll support annual Master Plan initiatives, manage Digital Transformation mapping, and report on VoC, FMEA, and A3 progress, collaborating with a global OpEx network for best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 4 years of related experience is required or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, processes, tools, techniques and criteria.
• Ability to simplify complex topics and connect with operational context.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement processes, methods and metrics.
• Strong communication skills with all staff and management levels.
• Ability to lead, motivate and drive change within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Training (QI, 8D, A3, VSM, 5S, Process Mapping).
• Facilitate / Coach projects and quality tools (A3, FMEA, VOC, 8D, Visual Management).
• Support Master Plan development and Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Provide reporting on VoC, Excellence System rollout, FMEA, A3 progress.
• Interface with Global OpEx Network.

What You'll Do Day-To-Day

• Conduct Training
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement (Principles of Excellence, A3 Problem Solving, Manager in Field, 8D Event Resolution, Visual Management)
  • FMEA facilitation
  • Workshop Mode (VSM, 5S, Process Mapping, etc.)
• Facilitate / Coach
  • Flash Meetings, A3 Projects, FMEA (and other Quality Tools), Performance Plans, Voice of the Customer, 8D Event Resolution, Visual Management Meetings
• Support Operating Unit Implementation Initiatives
  • Master Plan (annual objective) Development and Maintenance
  • Digital Transformation (Process Mapping and associated A3s for Digital T.)
• Reporting
  • VoC (based on Net Promoter Score), Excellence System Rollout, FMEA, A3 Progress, Master Plan, Performance Plans
• Interface with Global OpEx Network

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Total Rewards Package

• Salary: $84,000 - $110,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
