Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Process Excellence Engineer to own and drive the Riverview DMS and continuous improvement across site operations. You will lead Tier meetings, coach leaders, and push accountability through SQDCP measures, with hands-on floor engagement.

You will manage end-to-end savings projects, map value streams, and coordinate cross-functional problem solving using PDCA, A3, and Six Sigma tools while supporting SAP S4HANA migration and site initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in operational excellence or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience running Tier meetings or a Daily Management System preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership across functions.
• Experience with SAP S4HANA migrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, rollout, daily cadence, and sustainment of the Riverview DMS across Tier 1–3.
• Build and sustain visual management boards, KPI ownership, escalation paths, and standard meeting routines.
• Lead Tier meetings, coach teams, and ensure effective daily management practices.
• Connect tiers so issues move to the right level quickly and decisions return to teams.
• Establish Leader Standard Work, Gemba walks, and action closure routines to show accountability.
• Coach teams to use SQDCP measures to identify gaps and sustain gains.
• Spend meaningful time on the floor, at the boards, and in Gemba.
• Own end-to-end savings and improvement projects, champion the site savings pipeline.
• Drive value stream mapping and efficiency projects across manufacturing, quality, and support functions.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem solving using PDCA, A3, 5 Why, and Six Sigma tools.
• Own monthly KPI reporting for leadership reviews and ensure data accuracy.
• Translate operational issues into updates with impact, recommendation, owner, due date, risk, and outcome.
• Adapt improvements to a high-mix CDMO environment with ongoing technology transfers.
• Support OE initiatives including SAP S4HANA migration and broader department priorities.
• Provide independent production support during off-hours and travel as needed.
