Job summary

Ironwood Capital Management Corporation seeks a detail-oriented Operations Due Diligence Assistant to support the due diligence program in Chicago. You will help prepare RFPs/RFIs and DDQs, maintain the FAQ repository, and participate in committee meetings with senior professionals.

The role requires 1-3 years in financial services, strong organizational and analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate, compliant outputs for equity and non-equity funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong academic record.
• 1-3 years in financial services with exposure to investment operations, fund administration, and/or investment management.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of final product.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete RFPs/RFIs, DDQs, and Ironwood’s FAQ repository.
• Attend Operational Due Diligence Committee meetings and collaborate with senior investment and operations professionals.
• Participate in Operational Due Diligence reviews requested by Ironwood’s intermediaries.
• Attend Vendor Due Diligence Committee meetings and document vendor/third-party information and findings.
• Assist in tracking regulatory compliance requirements.
• Assist in updates to Ironwood’s independent directors during quarterly board meetings.
• Stay current on industry trends and service providers.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Description

Support Ironwood's Operational Due Diligence team with the administration of various operational diligence initiatives, including Ironwood’s internal RFI/RFP process, maintenance of due diligence questionnaires, and vendor due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and completion of RFP/RFIs, due diligence questionnaires, andIronwood’s FAQ repository
• Attend Ironwood’s Operational Due Diligence Committee meetings and collaborate with variouscommittee members consisting of senior investment and operations professionals
• Participate in Operational Due Diligence reviews requested by Ironwood’s intermediaries
• Attend Ironwood’s Vendor Due Diligence Committee meetings and participate in vendorreviews; maintain database documenting all vendor/third-party information and findings
• Assist in the tracking of regulatory compliance requirements
• Assist in the preparation of updates to Ironwood’s independent directors during quarterly boardmeetings
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, relevant service providers, and other industry-related vendors
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
