Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division seeks an Operation Supply Chain Manager to drive materials flow and scheduling inside the factory, ensuring maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule via SIOP planning. You will manage indirect/MRO purchasing and coordinate with Network and COE to meet OTD goals and inventory targets.

Responsibilities include monitoring schedules, escalating material risks, deploying Lean improvements, and leading cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain

Qualifications

  • College degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management or Materials Management; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum five years in Materials, Operations or SCM within manufacturing; three years in people management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, bilingual (Spanish/English), and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage materials flow and inventory to support plant operations and align with MPS/SIOP.
  • Schedule production, monitor execution, and escalate material availability with Network/COE.
  • Lead continuous improvement using MMA/OPA, visual management, and value stream mapping.

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Operation Supply Chain Manager.What you’ll do:Responsible for managing the internal materials & scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.Ensures compliance to all company rules, policies, procedures, and programs in support of the established goals and objectives. Builds organizational capability throughout the department. Lead and/or support any project or initiatives as required by business needs or as requested by upper management.Essential Functions:Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant’s operations by deploying lean material flow.Responsible for the administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards.Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network.Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan).Responsible for escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams.Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan.Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments (MMA, OPA), visual management, standard work, and value stream mapping.Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network.Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling. his role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan.Qualifications:1. Education: College Degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management or Materials Management; MBA preferred,2. Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment - Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience.3. APICS CPIM Certification is desirableAdditional Information:Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities:Production Planner - Organizes, manages, and schedules production workflows as per MPS. Adjust as necessary within FROZEN PLANNING PERIOD to maximize adherence to plan. Will escalate expected material not arriving on site and coordinate with Network Scheduler and CoEIndirect Proc. Execution - Supports cost out execution and CI/Ops/Eng teams to drive approvals such as specification changes, consumption reduction initiativesLogistics Execution - Schedules transportation with suppliers to support production. Includes customs handling / GTM. but NO sourcing/pricingMaterial Handling & Inventory Accuracy - Maintain accurate records of material holdings Ensures material is in right place, at right timeTotal number of employees under your supervision (directly). 7Major or Unusual Problems:Fast paced manufacturing operation with dynamic customer orders that supplies the world with product manufactured in the Caribbean with a low percentage of local suppliers.External Contacts:Interface with other customers, suppliers, and logistics providers all relating to customer service satisfaction.Principal Accountabilities:Customer On-time deliveryDays on Hand/ Inventory dollarsFreight CostsCost SavingsInventory AccuracyContinuous Improvement of all Supply Chain Processes and Operational Capabilities.GTM Site Coordinator - Point of contact for the site in Global Trade Management Matters including attend relevant trainings, complete self-assessment, ensure procedures are documented, maintained and followed. Contact GTM Divisional Manager and escalate any government inquiries and suspected non- compliance.Roles and Responsibilities of the Managerial Personnel:(Mandatory Rules in Health and Security)1. Providing the necessary training to all the associates.2. Attending security training is required.3. Taking disciplinary action in case of violation to the rules of health and security of the plant.4. Being attentive to the prevention of accidents in your area.5.
