Position
Logistics Analyst – A detail-oriented professional to support outbound logistics, inventory transfers, and freight invoice management in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage outbound shipments: send daily notifications, monitor tracking, obtain PODs, and upload to Airtable.
- Investigate and resolve transportation issues (lost shipments, delays, discrepancies, delivery failures). Coordinate with carriers for damage claims, address corrections, rescheduling, and return-to-sender cases.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding status, issues, pickups, and corrective actions.
- Create commercial invoices and packing lists for international shipments and collaborate with trade compliance teams for cross‑border clearance.
- Coordinate with sales, SAP, and inventory teams on shipment execution.
- Handle inventory warehouse transfers: receive requests, schedule and execute transfers with 3PL warehouses, and update system status timely.
- Review and reconcile monthly domestic freight charge reports by the 15th, submit invoices through Airtable, and resolve discrepancies.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 2+ years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse coordination.
- Experience with trucking carriers, 3PL warehouses, and freight operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Airtable is a plus.
- Experience with international shipping documentation and cross‑border logistics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of transportation management and freight claim processes.
- Understanding of shipping documents (BOL, POD, CIPL).
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Trade Compliance, Warehouse, and Finance.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong follow‑up capabilities.
Work Location and Status
- Contract role based in Houston, TX.
- No visa/legal sponsorship.

For candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, anticipated base pay ranges from $60,000 to $85,000 annually, excluding other compensation components.
