Job summary

Five Star Nursing seeks compassionate X-Ray Technicians for contract positions in Columbus, Ohio. You will perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions and provide C-arm/O-arm coverage in the Operating Room, collaborating closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, ARRT RT certification, BLS, EPIC EMR familiarity, and knowledge of GE Siemens, PACS and portable imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital.
• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration.
• BLS Certificate required.
• Skills required: GE Siemens, PACS, and portables preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients
• Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions.
• Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room environment.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient care management
• Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay updated with advancements in the field.
