Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Travel Nurse to join Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico for a 13-week assignment. The RN will circulate surgical cases, verify patient/site counts, and ensure sterile technique from setup through handoff.

This travel role offers $2,596 per week on a 5x8 schedule with Day 1 benefits and license support. Applicants should have 2+ years OR nursing experience and an active NM RN license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• Active New Mexico RN License.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for surgical procedures and, when trained and assigned, perform the scrub role across assigned service lines
• Advocate for patient safety under anesthesia, verifying required consent and site documentation and participating in surgical time-outs
• Monitor and protect the sterile field, performing and reconciling instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with the perioperative team
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs, managing supplies, equipment, positioning, and specimen handling per facility protocol

This Operating Room travel nurse position in Clovis, New Mexico, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Plains Regional Medical Center. This role pays $2,596 per week and follows a Variable shift with a 5x8 schedule.

As the Operating Room registered nurse on this assignment, you'll circulate surgical cases, verify patients, sites, and counts, participate in surgical time-outs, and safeguard sterile technique from setup through handoff to recovery.
