CarePoint Health Management Associates in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a full-time Surgical Technician. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care under RN supervision, maintaining sterile techniques, and adhering to hospital policies. Ideal candidates will have CST certification, AHA BLS certification, and one year of experience in an acute care setting. What You’ll Be Doing

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist in providing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team.
• Follow hospital policy for site verification.
• Maintain sterile field for breaks in technique and take corrective action to preserve sterility.
• Apply scientific principles in adhering to sterile technique (gowning, gloving, draping).
• Handle and pass instruments and supplies appropriately.
• Handle specimens according to policy and procedure.
• Perform counts according to established procedures.
• Adhere to universal precautions.

What We’re Looking For

Full Time, Day shift, 7am to 5:30pm. Rotational on‑call required.

• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• One (1) year experience in an acute care/hospital setting preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, attention to detail, excellent hand‑eye coordination, self‑motivated and work in an efficient and effective manner.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving patient experience and patient satisfaction with exceptional focus on teamwork.
