Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.

• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General, Plastics).
• Experience in scrubbing in specialty areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro.)
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room Tech prepares sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure, maintains the sterile field, and provides the surgeon with necessary instruments.

Education
