Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Operating Room Tech to support the surgical team under RN supervision.

The role involves transporting patients, preparing OR suites, coordinating with anesthesia, and maintaining equipment. Cross-training and routine maintenance tasks are included.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and BLS; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Operating Room Tech will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse within the scope of practice in the surgery department.
• Responsible for the transporting of patients to and from the department.
• Responsible for collaborating with anesthesia staff and preparing operating room suites for procedures.
• Cross-trained to assist in turning over surgical suites, maintaining inventory, sterilizing equipment and providing routine maintenance on anesthesia machines.
