Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Operating Room Tech to support patient care in the surgical suite.

You will coordinate with nursing and anesthesia teams, assist with patient positioning and room turnover, and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the charge nurse, teammates, and anesthesia team to address patient care needs.
• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover and cleaning operating rooms.
• Maintain supply inventory; stock anesthesia supplies and carts.
• Clean and maintain anesthesia machines, ventilators, and small equipment.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of physiology and hospital procedures.
• Transport patients to and from surgical services.

• Coordinate effectively with the charge nurse, colleagues, and anesthesia team to address patient care needs.
• Responsible for activities of patient care including assistance in positioning the patient, room turnover and terminally cleaning operating rooms.
• Maintain supply inventory; stock anesthesia supply and equipment carts.
• Clean and maintain anesthesia machines, ventilators, and various small pieces of equipment
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of physiology and hospitalprocedures.
• Responsible for transporting patients to and from surgical services departments.
