Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa is seeking a full-time Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support its mission of providing exceptional healthcare. The RN will be responsible for patient care and ensuring adherence to established nursing standards, promoting teamwork and collaboration with the healthcare team.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, hold a valid RN license, and obtain required certifications shortly after hiring.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire.

Position has the responsibility for supporting the mission, vision, values of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process when providing care to all patients; meeting the established standards of the AORN nursing practice in supervising, delegating, and coordinating personnel assigned to the unit when in charge; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within 6 months of date of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of date of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more current years of acute care experience as a RN with (1) year peri-operative nursing experience.
