Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to assist during procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and prepare instruments and supplies for cases. The role requires scrub experience, passing instruments, and ensuring a sterile environment.

You may be called in as scheduled and must support daily OR setups. Qualifications include graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program, preference for an associate degree, and current AHA BLS along with Surgical Technology certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Required certifications include AHA BLS and Surgical Technology certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare the operating room for cases.
• Set up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub and pass instruments, pull cases as needed, and breakdown cases after completion.
• Prepare OR and supplies for daily schedules and be available for call as scheduled.
• Support surgical teams and ensure a sterile environment to facilitate procedures.
