Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
• Less than one year of previous job-related experience; Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical team and assist in basic scrub responsibilities.
• Assist in draping, position OR equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and operate room equipment; maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Perform counts per policy and procedures and ensure patient safety.
