Incredible Health in Long Branch, NJ is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintaining aseptic technique and a safe operating room environment, and collaborating with surgeons and staff.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. The role offers full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about surgery and postoperative care.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
