Job summary

Incredible Health in Katy, TX is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) for day shifts. Positions available as full-time, part-time, and per diem with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401K, and tuition assistance. Requires ADN or higher and active RN license; 1+ year OR experience preferred; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year. Responsibilities include direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintaining sterile field,

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
• Aseptic/sterile techniques know-how.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients, families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe operating room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Explain procedures and postoperative care to patients and families.

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Katy, TX area for the following position: Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
