Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Operating Room/Surgical Nurse (RN) in Jackson, MI to support perioperative care across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, and more. On-site role with day, night, and mid shifts; full-time, part-time or per diem options.

Qualified candidates will hold ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience; ACLS/PALS preferred. Benefits include healthcare, 401K, PTO, tuition assistance, and family-centered programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic, safe operating room environment.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferred
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, physicians, patients and families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room
• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
