Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL is looking for an Operating Room Assistant (ORA) to support the surgical team. This full-time role runs 6:00 am–2:30 pm and reports to the Charge Nurse, RN, and CRNA. You will transport patients, assist with positioning, and help maintain sterile, ready-to-use operating rooms between cases.

The position requires a High School diploma and at least one year of prior experience. OR/ED clinical exposure is preferred, along with experience in supply ordering.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1 year of previous experience in any setting required.
• Clinical experience in hospital setting such as OR, ED or other similar work place is preferred.
• Experience in supply ordering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients and assists with patient positioning.
