Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Attendant for a Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:00pm schedule. This on-site role requires high school education, at least one year of hospital experience, and current CPR certification. Responsibilities include patient transport, OR cleanups, room turnovers, stock checks, and strict confidentiality.

The position emphasizes teamwork with RN/MD staff and adherence to hospital policies to ensure safe and efficient operating room function.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: One (1) year experience in a hospital setting.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to designated areas, assists in moving/positioning in OR under RN/MD supervision.
• Transports and cleans equipment in the OR; perform cleaning/proper handling per standards.
• Assists in room turnovers to expedite OR utilization.
• Assists in cleaning surgical suites at end of day for next day use.
• Checks stock levels by sub-sterile assignments or cart assignments and restocks as per guidelines.
• Responds promptly to transport requests for beds, specimens, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding patient care and hospital information.
